comments = With 'Brave New World of Zero Risk', Walker
has gone to the next level by providing, not just the ME/CFS community,
but social commentators and health activists everywhere around the world
with the greatest of gifts - a meticulously researched advocacy tool
that can be used with deadly accuracy to combat the misinformation, so
assiduously and comprehensively produced by vested interests such as
those of the pharmaceutical industry et al, being promoted by ex members
of the Revolutionary Communist Party in the United Kingdom and the neo
conservatives elsewhere that have served to comprehensively corrupt science
and scientific endeavour.

comments = I was delighted to hear this book is available. I heard
it was due out. I have and read Dirty Medicine. However, is it possible
to buy the book? Has it been published? The thought of printing 350 pages
on my printer is awesome and I'd be very happy to buy the book.

comments = I read "Skewed" recently and recommended it to all my contacts, especially those on EuroLyme(yahoo health groups) and those in www.bada-uk.org. We all suffer from Borreliosis, and between us are trying to alert the UK population to this pandemic disease. I do not think the HPA has done nearly enough to diagnose and treat the disease. It's not rare, and could be the cause of 80% of ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia cases, and 25% of schizophrenia and dementia cases. I'd like to talk to Martin Walker about this if possible. I have some scientific knowledge (pharmacology BSc and neuroanatomy MSc) but I have not been well enough to work for 15 years. I've gathered a lot of info during the last 18 months re Borreliosis, and have some friends who've been researching the subject for much longer. I used to be a Labour Party member, and Trade Union rep many years ago. I have no affiliations with either now. |

comments = Dishonesty and deception are now acceptable tools in the battle to hide the true causes of the rapid rise in debilitating illnesses and deformities in the human population. The power over politics, science and medicine wielded by the multi-nationals and the unelected governing elite ensures that the majority are ignorant of their true activities. The laws are regulations that should protect us are ignored and largely unenforced because of that influence and the lack of accountability. There is no future for mankind if the current situation is allowed to continue. |

comments = This laughably stupid text is so bad that it acquires a perverse fascination. Hilarious. Editors comments 'This is the highest level of debate we are likely to get from the coporate lobby and even then they have to use someone else's name to write in. This comment is pure juvenilia. To them it's all a big joke and it gives us a clear idea of how seriously the corporate lobby takes environmental health damage. Martin J Walker |

comments =I agree that it is very difficult to pursue unhindered basic scientfic research. Medical research protocols and publications must conform to robot-like strictures, designed for drug trials, which are also usually flawed. More pregnant women have been prescribed progesterones during pregnancy in the past year than ever before in human history although HRT (also mainly progesterone) is recommended to be used at the lowest possible doses for the shortest possible time. HRT is given to women for no valid scientific reasons whatsoever
in spite of known increases in cancer , CVD, dementia, depression
and obviously therefore no overall improvement in the quality of
life. There is antipathy to investigative preconception care which
is the most important preventative field in all health care.

Hi, I've started reading zero risk, and it's fantastic. I have put
up links on my site (www.myvoice.me.uk),
and recomended everyone read it. Thank you for producing such an important book. |

Health Provision (or not) is primarily about the economic and social
aspects of politics and private profit. My time as a benzodiazepine campaigner
has illustrated clearly to me that protection of public health is not
the primary concern of the Department of Health - hiding the past is,
as is maintaining the existence of the medical myth that doctors know
what they are doing when they prescribe drugs or pass judgement on the
symptoms their drugs cause. The NHS is a state construct and essentially
that means that nothing that can be avoided, is allowed to tarnish the
image. Martin's book highlights the power of pseudo-science in our society, which for a variety of reasons suits politicians and the grey men whispering in their ears. Whether you read about ME, HRT, Sheep-Dip chemicals, Gulf War Syndrome or the damage that tranquillisers do, the patterns are remarkably similar and can be analysed. All Martin's work (and he didn't pay me to say this) is clear, analytical and accurate. You should read all that you can and then maybe try my website at www.actionminddrugs.org.uk |

I think your work is fantastic, please keep going. As a dramatist with
a passion for what is laughingly called 'alternative therapy' I know
how difficult it is to get this sort of stuff into the mainstream. I
tried with the BBC for years, having done a lot of work for them. No
way they were interested. I came across and bought your book 'Dirty Medicine'
when I was researching something some years back. Buying it was no easy
task, but I was grateful someone was writing this stuff. |

What you are doing is appreciated. It's time that individuals help build a better world not wholly based on profit and power. |

I just want to say a huge thank you to Martin Walker - I read Dirty Medicine almost twelve years ago and it totally changed my perspectives - I would like to say thanks for being brave enough to keep on putting this information out there. |
